I’m on the very latest iOS verdion. My car is also on hold at 6.14, as are all 2021s, so it may require the latest app version, it may have been pushed to Android first (good for them if so as they’ve been lagging usually), or it may require another vehicle update. Or a combination of the above,

I'm not convinced it's an Android versus iOS thing. My version of FordPass hasn't updated in weeks. I didn't see the climate settings controls appear until after my latest OTA update.

I could be way off base here, but it seems to me that my Mach-E communicated with the FordPass app after the update and told it to unlock that feature.

I updated my iPhone 13 to FordPass 5.6.0 last night. I don't have this feature, but the app did not force close overnight. After updating to iOS18, the prior version of FP would background close within an hour or two. The phone was on the charger all night, so I can't tell yet if battery usage has improved.

Does not seem to work on iOS with the Route 1. Maybe it’s just the premium that supports it?

Just tried it on my 2023.5 CR1 with iOS 18 and it works now (didn't notice it yesterday when I remote started climate).

Hmm I wonder if we need the HVAC update in FDRS for this to work. Newer models may already have this update.

I typically don't update my FordPass app and try to stay on the previous version since it seems like the last time I grabbed the latest there were a few bugs. However, I just updated to 5.6.0 in hopes to have this feature and unfortunately it did nothing different for me. The only option is to start, stop or extend the climate. ?
