New Climate Settings in FordPass App

It's my understanding that it will only work with some Mach-E. When it was released during FordPass Beta, the release notes said some Mach-E and all Lightning will have these enhanced HVAC controls which led me to believe it was hardware. Notice that the two Mach-E drivers that have it have 2023. This is all speculation. Maybe a few more 2023 drivers can chime in.

I have a 2022 and have the feature in FordPass.

Shows up for my 2024 Lightning, but not yet for my 2023.5 Mach-E.

That just goes to show how oversimplified our point of view can be regarding OTA updates between model years.
Here we have an example that at least implies that the software code for this feature on a 2023 isn't functional code for a 2023.5. For whatever reason.

Just saw this on Reddit so I tried it out for myself. Low and behold, Ford actually added them!

I am on iOS 18.5 and no software updates so maybe I do not get nice thing's. 23 MME-GT

I don't use an Android phone. I don't have this on IOS. Is this available only on Android?

Just updated FordPass on iOS and nothing new to see… probably a vehicle update is due, like others said???

Oh, and those fancy control center widgets we saw during WWDC? Would really love to just say “Siri, start my car” when getting ready for work.

I'm not shocked I don't have this, or the freaking ability to remote start my car from my garage 10 ft away. Putting the Pass back in FordPass.
