New Climate Settings in FordPass App

No controls. What is odd though and maybe adds a data point for others, I did have them maybe four months or so ago where I could control the climate settings in the MME. I was running the TestFlight FP 5 beta back then before it was generally available. It only worked for one or two of those beta releases then they removed it.

So I don't know that it's a car OTA version issue as it did work properly for me back then from what I recall. I suspect either an oversight in this release or they are staggering the feature by OS or something for whatever reason.

Is this ios or android?

iOS. You start climate by clicking the fan button and once it starts click the box with the temp. (Mine is Celsius ). That brings up the second box which allows you to adjust temp turn on defroster, heated seats or steering wheel.

I am on FordPass 5.6.0 IOS 18.0.1 and I do not see the climate control function.

No Climate setting improvement here.

I am on FordPass v5.6.0, IOS 18.1(Beta), and received 3 Updates on the vehicle yesterday and this morning(Bluecruise1.3 improvement, and “Entry” improvements)

Definitely did not get that update! There is no ‘climate’ to tap on my FordPass, 5.6.0, IOS 18.1, IPhone 16 Pro

Just updated FordPass on iOS and nothing new to see… probably a vehicle update is due, like others said???

Oh, and those fancy control center widgets we saw during WWDC? Would really love to just say “Siri, start my car” when getting ready for work.

I'm in Canada, and I checked when remote starting when I left work today. I DO have the new climate settings. Love it! the weird thing is, it's not present on my wife's mach-e yet. I'm sure it will be available on my wife's mach-e soon, ours are identical and identical update level too.

Both my mach-e's are job 1 2023 premium standard range awd.

@Ford of Canada @Ford Motor Company great job on adding this to the app. I've been wanting access to custom cabin temperature, defrost, heated steering wheel and heated seats from the app since I bought my Mach-e's. So happy to see constant improvement and added features.

Correct because Apple couldn't use the standard protocol, they finally started so that is resolved. Welcome to RCS, android has been at this party for years. Apple has intentionally degraded Android photos/text for years, your android friends have all been annoyed with you.

Apple has been Tesla, we are special and will use our own port. It's just Tesla won the port battle, Apple lost the port and text battle (we have had usb-c for years)
