Finally called my dealer today to get one on order. Already have two fobs since I purchased one myself early on and used FordPass points to pay for programming, but figured a third wouldn't hurt since it's free.

They are going to want me to come in "for service" so they can clear the programming from the work order. Unsure if they'll actually make me wait for them to program it or not though... Told them I can do it myself since I already have two fobs.

Just get reimbursed for the one you already bought. Three is pretty unnecessary.

I purchased it online and used FordPass points to pay for programming, so I didn't want to make things difficult on reimbursement.

I also already had 2 fobs, and now have a 3rd since I bought a Lightning fob to get a frunk button. My plan is to wait and see if the 2023 model fobs come with a frunk button. If so, I'll try to use this CSP to get one of those.

It amazes me that people still tag @Ford Motor Company constantly. Hasn't everyone noticed that collecting your VIN and dealer info is the extent of their ability?
Complaining on the forum is basically shouting into the void anyway. At least tagging @Ford Motor Company gives a glimmer of hope that the negative feedback might get passed along to someone who can do something about it. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe if that account ever contributed anything beyond a request for VIN and dealer info, there'd be reason to believe that. There are at least a few members here that do have access to such escalation channels, but @Ford Motor Company sure doesn't seem to be one of them.

A proper Mach-e/Mustang fob with a working Frunk button would likely cause me to stop using PAAK. That would actually be useful imo.

Tried to get the service advisor at the dealership to do this, and they said they couldn't find it when pulling up my VIN. I gave them the CSP # and they were able to pull it out but asked me to call Ford to add it to my VIN. Has anyone done this before? What's the best number to call?
