I mean this seems a larger update, would hope they push it much earlier for bug fixes and monitoring before full release
Those type of updates, EA isn't testing the software. Its testing the deployment of it. The software is final and already being used in new cars from the factory at that point. They are just testing how they send it out and what things they may need to tweak on the deployment.

The stuff we are actually testing, is the individual features that they enable in your EA account and the feature gets turned on from their end, like intelligent charging or intelligent range.

I wonder what ever happened to the UI refresh
I have a feeling the recall delayed that going out. I'd look for it early part of 2023.

Who said anything has happened to it?
No one has said anything, thus my curiosity.

Darren Palmer had said earlier this summer that October was the targeted release date. We’re in the second half of October.

I have been surprised that our '22 hasn't received any updates, at least none that stuck around. 3.5.2 tried to install on September 21st but failed because the vehicle entered transport mode, then it tried again on the 22nd but failed because the vehicle left transport mode. Then it tried on the 23rd and failed because " ManifestCurrentAssemblyDoesNotMatchWithFromAssemblyInManifest ".

I suspect the car already has 3.5.2 and that's why it failed, but it hasn't received anything since. My F-150 got an OTA October 7th.

Not the end of the world, it's a recent build and I imagine they are trying to get some 2021 and earlier '22 owners caught up. But was really hoping that it wouldn't still be that way with these deployments. It feels like the system should have been designed to allow almost every Mach-E to get the newest updates within a week of availability. There being months of difference in deployment times is just not fun. It's just a lottery basically.

With my F-150 which was a Job 1 2021, I didn't get the OTA to activate Blue Cruise until June. Other 2021 owners, even those that got there truck within a week or two of me, had their BC update a couple months earlier. And others I think are still waiting. It just has no obvious logical sense to it.

Your car is coming from the factory with these versions. The Manifest not matching error does mean that the OTA started, did its initial scan of your car, saw that your car didn't match what it thought you had, and updated fords back end and it will not attempt to install it again because you don't need it. You mentioned it went into transport mode, so your dealer probably updated it when they did the pre-delivery inspection and the deployment was already active.

You probably won't see anything meaningful OTA wise until we start to hit the 4.x.x updates.

I would have expected to see the YouTube streaming update and that before 4.x rolls out though. That's where I am a bit surprised.

I didn't mean you wouldn't get ANY updates until 4.x.x, just nothing that will be meaningful until then.

You should still see 3.5.3.3, which is just an updated config file for the APIM that enables streaming. You MAY see 3.5.3 as well, but if you do, you'll likely not notice anything new as it would just be a small tweak to the same sync version you have now.

Well, let them know that I’m happy to help whenever they feel ready to try out that remote frunk release deployment ?
