Newbie, Chargepoint, Fordpass Schedule

New user. Setup charging via utility schedule 9pm-9am weekdays, all day weekend, 90% max.

worked perfect over the weekend, stopped at 90%.

Today when I got home, plugged it in thinking it would kick on at 9pm. To my surprise it started charging, and was at 95%, likely would have gone to 100% if I didn’t check this evening.

I didn’t even setup my Chargepoint schedule thinking the car would control it all.

what did I do wrong?

Also have ‘use preferred charge settings’ toggled on the screen before this one with my address.

No Fordpass notification for that.

See if it happens again. Slow charging to 100% won't cause any real damage if you then drive it that day to burn some off.

It gave me an excuse to cruise around the block tonight to get to 89%.

I’ll plug back in at 9pm here to see what happens.

Charge settings are location-specific. Look at the navigation app. I bet it’s off and shows your car some short distance from your home. Not an uncommon problem.
You can add the new location and repeat your charge settings for it.
Also, it seems to be more reliable to set charging parameters in the car rather than in FordPass.
