Number of Modules for each trim/options

Mine is a 2022 Iced Blue Silver Metallic Premium AWD ER and it shipped with 1006 modules active. I'm not sure why mine is different from the 999 listed in the table. I'll update when it's delivered.

How do you know if you're on a chip hold?

I was on chip hold (1/19/22 production) and they finally finished and labeled the car as built on 3/17/22. I need to check the modules again.

I can't find any consolidated thread of the number of modules that are populated for each trim/option level. I'll try and keep up as much as possible updating this post with each combination. Also let me know if I missed any Combos

Welp, my count is now up to 969 ('22 Select RWD with Comfort/Tech). You can remove the 962.

The number of modules is mind boggling. I wonder if this is a chip count or number of plug in modules? It's a wonder it works at all...

More than a month after delivery and some FDRS updates= 1789

My Select AWD w/ tech package just got updated to "built" and I'm seeing 995 modules.

The number of modules is mind boggling. I wonder if this is a chip count or number of plug in modules? It's a wonder it works at all...

I am pretty sure it is the number of lines of program data input into all the modules in the vehicle.
I used to be a ford tech and remember inputting data into modules for service bulletins.

My Premium AWD ER MME was delivered 6 days ago and motorcraft.com still lists 1006 modules.

Just wanted to add a data point. I think I'm counting correctly - just the number of records under BCE Modules. Just showed up today, not updated to Built and I have 1030 lines - AWD Ext

Has something changed? My order is a Select with T/C package. On Saturday, the first day I got modules, I had 985 modules. On Sunday, I had 993. Today, I have 1,236! Way more than I was expecting. Anybody else seeing an increase in module count?
