This matches with what I've learned from my dealer and what my neighbors (all Ford retirees) tell me. The status of "In production" means your car is actively being assembled (not merely scheduled to be assembled at a future time) ... also that the "production date" is the date the car was finished.All I know is that I checked with my dealership and they said that my car was actually technically built today which matches with the www.www.macheforum.com/site/pages/tracker. Yesterday it showed IN PRODUCTION and the production date was blank. today it has an actual date in the production line as well as codes in the SPECIAL OPTIONS box
My window sticker date updated today (which makes me wonder if it moved to the next phase). But this being the weekend, I am not expecting any updates before Monday.
