OKTB today..?

All I know is that I checked with my dealership and they said that my car was actually technically built today which matches with the www.www.macheforum.com/site/pages/tracker. Yesterday it showed IN PRODUCTION and the production date was blank. today it has an actual date in the production line as well as codes in the SPECIAL OPTIONS box

This matches with what I've learned from my dealer and what my neighbors (all Ford retirees) tell me. The status of "In production" means your car is actively being assembled (not merely scheduled to be assembled at a future time) ... also that the "production date" is the date the car was finished.

My window sticker date updated today (which makes me wonder if it moved to the next phase). But this being the weekend, I am not expecting any updates before Monday.

From what I could make of the last update, the OKTB date continues to slip and no new target date was provided. There are also logistics issues with shipping the cars.

Sunday @trutolife27 told us the cars were good to go but they had no shipping plan.

No oktb is given. the mache is good to go again but the whole process is not ago. The hold us is shipping so if that is the hold-up, then we don't know how, when where they are shipping, what amount are dealers, what amount are customers. Hince shipping is the hold-up.
Once that is out then can pass on.

Food for thought. The media embargo ends at 6 AM EDT on the 15th. Is it possible that the cars will ship at the same time?? My guess is Ford does not want these cars to arrive until the media covers the internet with their views. If cars were delivered ahead of the embargo then the media would have a much LOWER appeal. In this way media goes all over the net and BOOM cars are now available to see and test drive.

in short demand will increase with a media blitz since no one in the public has driven one and the media gets theirs out first.

OKTB may require that a logistical plan for shipping out the vehicles is approved by management.

In the scheme of things, it's unimportant to me. It's an internal designator that I'd never have known about if not for discussions in this forum. In the larger picture of ordering a vehicle and finally receiving it, I just want to know when my vehicle will be ready for me to pick up.
