My 2021 Job 1 RWD ER pony seems to have gained back an old bug with 10.1. From the start-up chimes to FM radio and Apple CarPlay, a subsection of audio channels seems to sound as if they're drowning. It's a grainy quality I haven't had since I think 4.1. I've reset the Sync system half a dozen times, left the car outside locked for hours, inside charging for hours and nothing has changed. Yes, I realize it is possible the speaker has blown out, due to the age of the car and the fact it sits right in the sun, but since I've had this bug come and go months before, I really think it's a software issue. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I have same model, and am now at 10.1.1 release. I've noticed the sound of running water at low volume levels at startup. It only lasts for a few seconds then goes away. The vehicle is very quiet at startup since I typically engage Android Auto at start which usually takes anywhere from 30-45 seconds to fully initialize and restart whatever media was last running. The new water sound isn't a problem, but is a curious side affect.?‍♂

I'm getting this old problem again with my 2021 as of yesterday. The problem was active between two drives of one hour each.

When I had this early on, it was a broad mix of in-warrantee testing and replacing the center speaker to resolve the problem. Now that I'm out of warrantee, I'm open to other suggestions.

I too have to have the car out in the sun daily, but that problem would have shown up much sooner if that was the cause. Not ruling out that possibility, but that speaker was already cooking for a while. Haven't gotten around to check DTCs via Forscan yet.

Other things I'm pondering are resetting the fuses, but that's pure speculation on my part.

I don't have Forscan, but looking into the fuses wouldn't hurt.

Ha! Mine actually rained! (I don't know what caused this but it resolved it's self on the next key cycle. The center screen watch twitching constantly during that drive.)
