Out of curiosity...how many FE are allocated? Since it’s a limited run, how limited is that number?

I just noticed what I circled in red. It confused me because on my order confirmation it said 11/18, and I knew I placed the order on 11/17 as soon as I could. Anyone else like me that shows the different date of 11/18 like that?

Just a guess, but maybe since it was a worldwide reservation system, they converted to UTC? 9:55pm CT time would be the next day in UTC.

Anyone paying $600 to $1000 dealer commission fees? This is standard when buying any new car. I see no mention of this in posts.

I'm wondering that too. I assume we will (where they're normally charged anyway... state laws may limit them). At my closest dealership (in CO), all vehicles show a $479 D&H fee (Dealer & Handling). Another dealership employee nearby posted that all their vehicles add a $699 D&H.

But that's not showing on the Ford order. I also worry about things like "advertising fees", "paperwork fees", etc being snuck in at the last minute.

Mullinax Ford asked how I converted my order and changed dealers as they had another customer trying to do it. I told them have the customer call me, is be glad to help. We conferenced called the help line and Andrew with Ford took car of it and as soon as the new dealer shows up on the reservation, he can convert to order. It can take up to 5 days to show on reservation but mine only took 1, We'll see how long this other MachE res holders take. He's coming out of a Model 3 BTW,was a great call!

It may have been 11/17 for you, but 11/18 wherever their server is located. Did you place it in the evening? If you are on the west coast, it could have been just past midnight in Eastern time (Detroit’s timezone). Or it is possible the server uses something else like the 0 GMT Timezone.

East coast. Yes, 11/17 for me would have been 11/18 UTC. That would be astoundingly cosmopolitan for Ford to be using UTC -- of course the IT people probably made that decision.

Update: Well after a few days of emails and phone calls, my dealer finally "accepted" my offer. Now, I can really just sit back and wait. Of note: the "Order Number" is still the same as my reservation number (10013432 / 18 Nov 19). I also received my reservation deposit refunded back into my account today.

I purchased my current Fusion, my wife's C-Max and my daughter's used C-Max all from the same salesman. I've been texting him on and off since my initial reservation and prior to placing my order. He knew my order was being submitted when I did it, but he still emailed and called me immediately. He said it's part of their required procedures. Literally the are required to email and call form dealer once an order is placed. My salesman's first car was a grabber blue '73 Mustang Grande 351.

I'm pretty sure we ordered from the same dealership, Mullinax - palm beach, correct?. I am just curious if they have accepted your order yet. I placed my order on Saturday, and I'm still waiting.
