Just wanted to claim the first ever post on the 100th page of any thread ever. I have nothing else to add here. Hope you all get unstuck soon!
That can't be right? This is the first post on here to ever reach 100 pages!?!?

I think there are posts here with thousands of pages of replies.

But rarely do they discuss software updates for 100 pages at a time. Way before then the conversation moves to other interesting things like tire rotation strategies or what do people keep in that little pocket on the left side of the trunk.

I’ve heard rumors of a private thread that’s over twice that. Some people just like to blether apparently. ;)

Oh and @trutolife27 had a thread in the lead up to delivery that was over 300. The January 24 2021 folks got theirs up to well over 100.

Maybe it’s a modern era of the forum thing?!

Adding in my latest to this saga - took my car in on Friday for the update. Looks like service folks didn't look into my comments on the TSB - left the car there in the AM but then got a message in the afternoon saying that updates need a cable and they had the adapters on order from Ford but they are backlogged and might only arrive in a few weeks. Will call me back once the adapters are here.

On the plus side - they said my car was ready for BlueCruise update so they'll take it in for a few days and get everything done in one go next month. Hopefully I have some good news by next month

Confused. If the car is ready for Bluecruise updates, then you are already well past 1.7.1 hence you might not need the TSB and cables. Also if they try guess 5-6 times the APIM module, then the APIM fails and has to be replaced which is a one week or less lead time right now. It is a good thing they replace APIM module as that is used for OTA updates (guess a gateway sort of).

If you post your VIN someone can run it against FDRS software and see what they did or are seeing (same as the dealer and you can call their bluff).

Final Bluecruise updates came on v2.5.2

Prior to v2.5.2 there were minor pre-Bluecruise updates to get the car ready for Bluecruise.

His dealer probably just saw that his Car has the dealer notice that they can install it. It won't work until the 1.7.1 fix is applied though. When a dealer runs the car in their system, it shows any outstanding programs that haven't been applied on this car.
