{OTA} BlueCruise Map Update for Job 2 Cars - Deployment Starting

OTA is going out currently to Job 2 cars with BlueCrusie. This is the Map Update that was promised in the Email that was sent out.

Rollout is starting with Early Access as usual.

Release Notes:
The Ford BlueCruise map in your vehicle has been updated so you can continue taking advantage of hands-free highway driving on more than 130,000 miles of prequalified sections of divided highways.

This update is targeted at the GWM. Looks to be about 146mb in size.


This update extends the expiration date of BlueCruise. (Date format does not appear to match what you would expect, it is day, month year)

Before: March 14 2022

After: Sept. 10 2022

It's not showing in my car yet, Just in my JSON data. I don't see a powerup number with the release notes.

It would be nice if Ford would publish a detailed map of where BC is available. That seems like a pretty simple ask? What is the highest rez map we have so far?

impossible, since early access folks have gotten 2.3.0 this year and I've been assured by experts on here that $F will never be able to get out any updates to any cars ever, except maybe one set of updates a year to some cars, because they aren't $TSLA.

Also, everyone with job 2 please read the early access part. This isn't yet deployed to the masses and it's not available via FDRS until the main deployment rolls out.

Yeah, I was surprised to see that as well. And that the map is so small in size. Its also possible this is just a delta update to the full map.

The email saying this update was coming was Jan 24th. 8 days between the email, and first wave of deployments.

Hopefully this is a good sign that things really are about to start picking up in terms of OTA timelines.

I never got the early access email so I just joined the waitlist.

Not as worried about DC charge curve as I don’t know if I’ll ever DC charge. Just want to be first in line if they give us more powaaa!

I emailed them and they send me an invite. Super easy. They apologized. I joined in like august but was waitlisted until I finally emailed in Jan lol

It's just a low resolution PNG that has to be interpreted on the fly so don't get your hopes up on accuracy.
