First off, I know I'm "lucky" in that I have a job 2 car and have had Blue Cruise from day one when I took delivery end of November (though I didn't figure out that I had it for a few weeks - user ignorance).

I've only received a single OTA (the map update a few weeks back). I'd love to get the updated charging curve before the summer rolls around and I try some longer trips, and getting a smoother brake response would be nice as well.

Is there any news/rumors emerging from the chicken entrails regarding when OTA's for job 2 cars might be forthcoming?

Hopefully we'll see some progress on job 2 updates in the summer. The whole schedule is behind because of the issues job 1 cars have had.

I'm hoping we'll at least see a sync update soon, as we need the advanced OTA scheduling for future updates that came with I think 2.3.0.

I didn’t know ota’s were a thing with Job 2’s. I always assumed they were a myth and only available for early adopters lol

OTA? Whatchootalkin’bout, Willis? ??

If it weren’t for being able to bribe @DevSecOps and @scoopman with doughnuts ? my car (10/14/21 build date GT-PE, delivered 11/19) would probably not have any updates yet. ?‍♂?? FDRS FTW. ???

And in other news, water is STILL wet.

But seriously, I've got a '21 Job 2 (drove off the lot 2/16/22), I'd sort of like to know if/when anything is coming down the pike. Without bribing folks with donuts....

Yes. You will get OTA updates. At some point. This decade. Maybe.

I'm getting more updates from @tonesto7 's Scriptable app.
I suppose the stakes are a little higher with an OTA into a vehicle vs an update on phone app though.....
What flavor donuts should I be tracking down?

Not OTA, but as of today if your Job 2 car was built before 9/30 it is now eligible for the dealer install CSP 21P22 module updates that include DCFC curve. 21P22 updates 13 modules including ABS so there's a good chance brake feel is improved also.
Check the 21P22 threads for details.
Caveat is that dealers may refuse to apply it unless car is being serviced for another reason.

This is good to know. I have a pretty good relationship with my dealer (have purchased multiple vehicles from them over the years) and I can probably get an appointment to get this done by using the "grabby brakes" as a pretext.
