Reiterated my strong opinion that no updates of any kind be allowed without user approval or positive interaction.

The only option for this under the current structure is to turn off OTA updates and invest in an FDRS rig (consisting of a Windows PC, a USB to OBD-2 interface cable compatible with FDRS, a regulated 12V power supply capable of sustaining >50A - 2024+ GTs pull 69A, and a license to the FDRS software). If you have an FDRS rig you can look at what updates are available for your VIN and decide whether to install the individual module software or not. Note that some modules require that others be up to a certain software level, so updating one module will kick off a script to update one or more other modules. ?‍?

I'm in the UK and I just received this update. My 2nd since getting the car in October last year.

I don't know if this is relevant to this update, but my Google Maps on Android Auto now shows the battery %age and automatically adds charging stops to navigation on long journeys. I didn't have that before, and I've been wanting it for ages!

I got this update installed today. My first OTA update!!! Well my only update actually since leasing in November 2024. I was not driving it when it was installed, nor was it plugged into an EVSE.
