PTS shows that CMR-FX installed just fine.I received the driver monitoring update in the middle if the night, Saturday July 13 according to the car. In addition, Ford Pass says the driver monitoring update was updated on the 13th.
This morning, the 16th, the car seemed to say the driver monitoring update was not installed.
A short while later the not completed notice was replaced with one saying BC1.3 is scheduled for tonight. That’s even though my car is a 23.5 whose window sticker says it has BC 1.3, 90 day trial, as standard equipment.
The “system “ seems to be confused. Maybe the “system “ and the car need a double espresso to blast out the cobwebs.
Also, having BC 1.3 from factory does not mean you won't get the BC 1.3 update. It is newer IPMA software than the one your car came with, so you'll still get it. Whether BC 1.3 will be improved or not is the real question.
