Don’t worry. You’ll have this by the end of summer 2023!!!
It’s literally such a joke at this point that I’ve lost all confidence in Ford to deliver on their promises in a timely manner. I definitely won’t be keeping this car.

I think thats what they are going for. If they piss everyone off very few will still be around to say "HEY! You owe me Blue Cruise 1.5." They don't have to provide anything to used cars after 36 months it's seems.

For a while, I had a lot of respect for Ford. Tesla is always making ridiculous promises on things they will NEVER be able to deliver. Ford has been largely silent on what they intend to do with BC, long term. I respected that, as they were not promising anything, really. After the summer 2023 promise, though, every season that passes makes me more and more frustrated. I love my MME, and I will keep it for quite a while. Unfortunately for Ford, I am not building brand loyalty.

The worst part is, all they have to do is communicate better. But they refuse to even acknowledge it.

WHAT? You mean the 'social media team' hasn't been keeping up with issues raised on social media? Send me a DM with your vin isn't solving everything?
Perhaps if the social media team was paying attention to this media rather than TikTok it'd get somewhere. (And I say this having 2 people in my family that are 'social media reps' that I know don't do much other than watch tiktok and youtube videos)

Ford will then say they need $200/month to support BT.

It seems the 23 models are not receiving the updates as fast as the 21 models. I haven't received any in almost 3 months.
And as a 2023 owner, I'm OK with that. Seems like they're all pretty far behind anyway, so if getting them caught up in some way means we may all be able to move forward more efficiently, then so be.

I've gotten 4 in the last week. 6.14 yesterday. Hoping it continues up to 6.8.

Job 1, 2021 here, and have received 3 updates in the past 5 days. It took two days for 6.8 to install, then I received two more since.

I know I am unintentionally teasing a few on the forum, but my speedometer was always on the right, so the only change I have in 6.8 is the lack of directions until I am 0.3 miles from the next turn, which is no big deal.

I suspect a few of us are seeing updates since they cleared the service action, and the pattern seems to be 2021s, so that must be where the ruler is at in the Excel spreadsheet being used for OTA tracking.

I guess the OTA’s come in random order? I just received the audio update last night. Prior to that was the Tesla update in March.

I would like to see some more useful features added. Sure, you can now open your frunk from your phone app but is that really a must have feature?

How about the ability to support built in dash cam and record last 15-30 seconds when driving or parked with whatever cameras there are when I connect a USB stick?

How about a utility mode / pet mode like function?

Unfortunately there are no side repeater cameras to produce a blind spot image when using turn signals but that might be a useful addition but a moot point here of course. Hopefully the future models have it.

Heck, I’d like to see the ability to remove apps I don’t ever want and maybe speed up that infotainment system a bit. Those maps are quite slow despite being quite functional. I don’t know if 2023-24 cars have faster infotainment system but 2021 is pretty laggy for maps media and temperature controls.

Everyone wants BC1.4 while Tesla is stealing the show with their excellent improvement seen in FSD lately.

It’s a phenomenal car that’s going to be extinct because of the company that made it, I feel like. They are happy to sell trucks, period.
