So, I've been using PAAK a lot more recently with mostly good success as my wife needs the fob, however I've ran into a small issue.
Is it possible to get around leaving your phone in the car and just using the door code to get entry and PAAK to start up the car?
Where I work I can't have my phone in the office. Normally I had been going to work with my fob and phone, get to work and I put my phone into airplane mode and keep my fob with me. Today however my wife had the fob and I ran into this issue. I tired keeping my phone in the car and just pushing the lock button (button below the keypad) but the car would not lock. Tried punching in my code followed by the lock button, car did not lock. So I went in and set my phone to airplane and made sure wifi/bluetooth was off. Tired locking the car again via the keypad and it would still not lock. Where I work, not really concerned with people breaking in, so I just left my phone in the car with airplane mode on. Was kind of hoping the car would just end up locking it's self. When I got back, car was still unlocked
Turning off airplane mode allowed me to start the car without any issue, however I got the "no key detected" about 3 seconds after starting the car lol
Anyone know a way around this? Given we only get 1 fob, I can't image there is not a work around for a case like this.
