Parking Assist Feature Part Availability?

I am hoping a Ford person in this forum can chime in. I know NOT everyone is concerned or care about the Parking Assist feature and on my 22 ME GT, it was removed from the sticker as per the parts availability issue. But I noticed on the 23's listed in the Ford site that are available in dealers, that feature is included?!

I have asked my dealer to check on this but they have not gotten word back on when it may be available?!

If Ford is equipping the 23 models with this feature, why is it not being made available for the people who just bought the 22s? Can this be expedited for us who cares about this feature?

I thought the feature was completely removed for 2023. Are you saying that you just don't see the credit for removal on a 2023 sticker or are you saying that the sticker actually lists it as an included feature?

Hmm I could have sworn the ones I was checking out had it because I was considering upgrading to the GT Perf model. But now I dont see it. You're probably right, but I go back to my original question. Can owners of the 22s get them or are we SOL?

Check out youtube for a video of how it works. As cool as it sounds it seems to need some work and is not worth it IMO. Maybe someone with a 2021 can chime in and share their experience.

Ford has said it will be available at some point for cars that received the prep kit. But that point has not arrived yet. They also have not said what it will cost, so there's no guarantee it won't be more than the $325 credit people received for it being missing.

Tried it twice to back into normal parking spots (haven't tried parallel parking). Both times it got way closer to surrounding parked cars than I cared for. With the 360 camera, I feel like I can do a better job. Haven't used it since.

Does your sticker show the deduction and prep kit? If yes, you can get it WHEN Ford makes it available. If no, you can't.

No one knows. And no Ford person ever posts anything beyond "send me your VIN and dealer name in a DM". They don't announce, or preannounce, anything.

If you think about it, unless the part is a part common to other uses, why would Ford ever produce another of these parts after taking them off of the available options for new orders? I guess the answer may be that it will become available when Parking Assist does again appear as an option for a new car order and as mentioned no one has a date for that.
