Plugged in, not charging

Abut 50% of the time my Mach starts charging for 5 minutes or so and after that errors out. Red ring around the charge port, message in app — plugged in not charging. Took it to the dealer, they came back with the message — Ford engineers are working on the issue. ETA August. Anyone knows what is this about?

We have been having the same problem for a while. We were also told that they were working on it and would eventually get an update that would fix it.
