Power window bounce back

Every now and then, when I use the one touch up for the power window on the driver side window, if I want to stop it going up by pressing down on the button real quick , there is a sweet spot maybe halfway where the window doesn’t just stop… it goes all the way back down and I ‘loose’ the one up or one down feature. I usually reset it by having the window go all the way down. I took it to the dealer and they said the motor for the driver side window was bad so they replaced it . When I got the car back I still noticed it acting like this but this time with all the windows.. I think it’s the switch in the door… has anyone else had this issue?

Yeah! I also find the automatic windows temperamental such that I never know what they’re going to do each time I use ‘em.

Try resetting them all. The procedure is somewhere on the internet

Yes, me too been there, done that without having the problem fixed...The number of times I wanted the window to just go down a little to get rid of the snow, only to have it going all open, with all the snow getting inside the car, pretty annoying (and so random)...

To stop a window that is in auto-travel, press the switch in the direction of travel, not the opposite direction.

Ha! Ha! Of course, usually, but it doesn't with the MME (at least mine)...

My '24 GT is doing this also. Initially just the driver front window, but last time the passenger front window joined in. Seems like a short somewhere or a programming bug...

No matter what order you do anything with the windows, as with kicky open boot/frunk, it does what it likes when it likes how it likes

My windows and my kick-to-open both work flawlessly. I know all cars don’t behave properly!
