I bought a certified 2021 Mustang Mach E on 7/29. In the two months since, the car has been at the dealership three times, for five weeks. First, I got a host of scary errors after only two weeks with the car. They had to replace the front motor, which took close to a month. And three quarters of that time they had no rental car for me, so I'm out that cost. When I went to pick it up, it immediately threw errors associated with the front camera - I was less than a mile out of the lot, so I turned back around and waited a week for them to fix that. Now, after having it back less than a week, I got the Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power warning (again) and the High-Voltage Battery warning. Dropped it off again; again no rental car. I have to drive to Cleveland tomorrow.

Not feeling good about my purchase at this point....

Kind of makes you wonder if some of the 21 models being sold are actually Lemons.

These days, I'd run the VIN for service history, if the vehicle is a Ford.
FDRS will let you run VINs without scanning the OBD port. And then view all official Ford service history.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.
