There is a bulletin for the HVBJB that says how dealers submit for payment. No figuring anything out.
yes, but some problems are covered more than one way.

I just got this today driving home. I got the recall update about two weeks ago and went into the Dealership last week for the 10k tire rotation and checkup. Never had the problem until today for the first time. The car seemed to run find all the way home and I still have the warning. Has anyone got this and it cleared itself without having hardware replaced or am I screwed?

You are screwed like everyone who has a GT built before 06/2022.
You better head back to the dealer while the car runs.

I would suggest opening a case with @Ford Motor Company. I got the software update in June after a tow... When the messages came back 3 weeks later I was lucky enough that I went to the dealership and was in the lot when it died on me.... Got the hardware replaced... It's unfortunately going to happen so better to be ahead than to get stranded.... Good luck!

How do I open a case with them? I already left a message with my dealership. Do you do it through here?

You can send them a direct message on here if they don't see this and reach out to you first... There is also a number to call and you ask for a BEV specialist... I don't know it offhand but if I come across it I'll send it to you

dealer notes actually make sense to me now lol
Ford Mustang Mach-E POWERTRAIN MALFUNCTION / REDUCED / HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY WARNING 1662057271662
Wrong notes but I figured it out. They replaced your HVBJB, but not for the usual reason. Your failure is unusual. You had a P0D11 open contactor control circuit. The first time they fixed it, they dropped the pack and reseated the connector. The second time it failed with an additional P0D13 code (circuit low), they dropped the pack again and finally replaced the HVBJB. You should be good to go in the powertrain department, but some of your other modules could use some updates like the RFA and IPMA.

Ah OK so they made more sense in that I understood the parts but not the reason.... Thanks for clarifying the details... For the other modules do I need to have a complaint to get those fixed as is the case sometimes?

Quick update on my issue:

I opened a case with Ford and left it at the dealership this morning. The dealership called me this afternoon to tell me that they know what they need to do to fix it, but are not sure about the order they need to do it and are waiting on Ford to tell them. They said they can fix it without hardware changes.

They need to keep the car until tomorrow but I'm not convinced this will be resolved with updates alone. I mentioned to the Service Manager that people online say they need the HVBJB replaced. He said he would tell his engineer that, but his questions didn't give me the warm and fuzzies. I explained to him that if the software update is temporary, I run the risk of parking my car in my garage (head first) with no way to towing it out without possibly damaging the battery.

Even if you had the recall update OTA, the dealer might still see the campaign is open and that's why they might believe they just need to update the software. Mine was updated OTA 16 days ago and the campaign is still open. Maybe they sync information from one Ford system to another manually using a usb drive, and the person who does it is on vacation. Otherwise I cannot explain this lag.
As you can imagine applying the same software update will not fix any issues. They might clear the error codes but they will come back again.

Not sure which dealership you went to (hello from North Jersey :)) but from my experience and others on here it really depends on how knowledgeable the EV tech is and how much they are willing to learn. My dealership admits this is new territory but they have been very up front with the info and learning. The software is only supposed to alert you to impending failure so another software update is not going to help when the hardware fails

Yes most dealers require a complaint before they will update additional modules

Just to be clear, you have an SVS error and you are seeing a power limit to only 1/3 power? That’s the junction box. If the power limit isn’t that severe then it might be something else with software. Send VIN if you aren’t sure.

It's the HVBJB. Already checked.
