Powertrain Malfunction

I bought my MachE in 2021. Randomly I would get a message stating there was a powertrain malfunction and it would kick the car into turtle mode. After a few minutes, it would go away.

Two weeks ago, I dropped off my car at the dealer because it had a bunch of recalls. I went to pick up the car and not only did I get the same message above, it also gave me the high voltage battery warning and electrical system drain. The dealer can’t figure out what’s going. What’s worse is that the car won’t charge anymore either. It gives a charging fault error message. They are in talks with Ford to figure out if the battery needs new cells. Anyone else have these issues?

I took my 2021 Mach-e Premium to dealer for this Powertrain error. The service person said the transmission pump module needed to be replaced. The person then said rear end would need to be removed or dropped (whichever is the term) to replace the module. Finally, the person said it could take 7 or 8 business days.

3 weeks before the Powertrain error, my 2021 Mach-e Premium would not charge and dealer replaced the charging Module. So it looks like you are having the same issues, just all together!

Same here on same year model. Our very experienced Ford techie ( Georgia ) said 1 week to fix it - 3 weeks ago - still not able to fix it. No deadline for getting it back. Sorry to see yours is exactly the same problem as is here.
