Preconditioning still available without Connected Services?

Hoping to learn from other drivers if I let my connection services lapse next month will I lose the ability to precondition for charging using Google Maps & Android Auto?

Apologies if I'm reposting this question. I ask because of what I believe is erroneous info from ChatGPT. Or at least I hope is erroneous.
