Preferred Charge Locations Disappeared

I've looked all over the forum for this issue...so if it's already covered...please direct me to the post.

I installed the 2.4.2 OTA update on March 23. Since then, my preferred charge locations have disappeared.

The worst of it is that my home charger is not showing up as a previous location so I can set the max charge.

This is happening both in Sync and on FP.

I've contacted Ford 3 times and they have no idea what's going on. I've talked to the FP department and Vehicle Technology department.

Has anyone seen this? Any ideas on how to force the car to recognize a location? I need to be able to stop the car from charging to 100% without babysitting the charger.

The pics attached from FP and Sync show the same info. I'll post pics from Sync later.

Yes this can occur with these updates. Just need to charge at home location and the previous settings will be available to set up again. There are other settings that can change as well. Please read up the posts on these 2.4.x updates…

while not ideal and nuisance, most f these settings are restorable.

Bro, I've charged the car at home since March 23 and it's not showing up as a previous location... maybe 1 more day and it will show up

After you charge at home, you're going into the sync screen and clicking "add a location" and it isn't showing up there to add? @Kamuelaflyer had a similar problem after 2.4.2 but he was able to add the location through the Fordpass app, I believe.

My location got wiped like many people's after 2.4.2, but I was able to add it back through sync.

Since you are in early access, you’ve told the early access team? I feel like people who aren’t prepared for weird quirks to happen shouldn’t be in the EAP, clearly out of your element, which is fine, but you probably should have waited for general release.

Correct...I'm not able to add via Sync nor the FP app. On Sync, everything is gray.

After some updates, the memory gets wiped. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been charging at home. You have to start all over.

That seems like a bug that should be reported. Mine got wiped out but I was able to add after a full charge via the car.

2.4.2 wiped my saved charging locations. I’ve been unable to set up a location via the main screen since then. I can set them up via FordPass though. I can edit the target charge in the car and that’s it. Nothing is greyed out on sync though. It all appears normal.

That seems like a bug that should be reported. Mine got wiped out but I was able to add after a full charge via the car.

Agreed.. I've logged it with the FP dept, Vehicle Technology dept and EAP dept. Hopefully, one of them will get back to me.

I don't want to necropost but having similar issues. I can see my charge logs but in previous charge history, it's all blank regardless of how often I've charged at a particular location. Here are screenshots that show that I have my previous 2 locations saved with preferred charge times however, there is no longer any record in previous location screen, despite many previous locations showing in the charge log. Because of this, I can't set new preferred charge times based on previous locations. And before someone suggests...yes, I have reset Sync, removed and reinstalled my phone app, and you can clearly see the dates for recent charging sessions so I'm confused as to why it won't show previous locations.

When this happened to me, the location showed up in Sync under Settings< Charge, Charge Locations. I was able to set the charge time and percent there. Eventually, it showed up in the App the next day.
