Got that email too. Was excited, but...nothing changed. Price is the same, still scheduled for production the week of 10/25.

Sigh...

My premium AWD base price went up $500 in addition to $95 more for red. $595 total increase.
I just noticed the exact same price increase. No email notification, just a kick in the nuts.

Got an email from Ford today with the subject line: "Your order was updated."

I clicked on the link and it looks like the only change was a price change from $57,500 to $59,200.
Skip your dealer and call Ford, your dealer may have changed the order. Ford will know.

Remember a year ago Ford suddenly reduced the price of most trims by $3000? I guess they are rolling that back. The demand is high, inflation is getting hotter, and semiconductor supply is still tight. I would expect prices keep creeping higher because those factors are not going away.

I also received an updated order email today and noticed the selling price increased by $2,700. I'm hoping it is an error. My MME is already shipped and on the way to the dealer.
I too saw a $2700 increase for premium extended range AWD model scheduled for build on 10/18. Lets home this is just a temporary glitch as others suggested. The VIN returned still indicates a 2021 model year.

Update on my end. Just received this reply from my dealer:
I believe that this is simply a mistake on Ford's end. I checked your order in our internal system and it still shows the same MSRP as before. Ford's site is also having some issues with accepting new orders so I think they are just working out some issues currently.

Perhaps crisis averted...
Follow up from Walnut Creek Ford GM:
I verified that there is no price increase in our internal system. It is definitely just a mistake by Ford.

I see many horror stories from people on this forum regarding dealerships/salespeople. This Mach-E experience, from test drive, to order, to follow ups...Walnut Creek team has been responsive. Fantastic customer service. If you're a Bay Area buyer, give them consideration.

Ours is on order from Walnut Creek too. Cameron who does the internet sales has been fantastic. He told us the same thing today.

Can someone tell me what MSRP was on a 2021 Premium AWD standard range? $3000 was added under the "Difference from Total MSRP" between the 29th and 30th and now my dealer is saying they're adding that because of low allocation. Not sure how they can add a markup after I put down a deposit and my order has been submitted? I'm trying to figure out what my original price was before the website got all screwed up.

funny how glitches like these never result in the customers favor, like lower prices..

Same, here the base MSRP price increased by $2700 for my Premium AWD, Extended range order. Does this mean that they automatically converted existing orders from 2021 to 2022 builds? Does this mean they're building a 2022 that has better features?
Otherwise, this last min price change is huge customer relations issue... I guess it is regardless of whether we are now getting 2022s. We've been patiently waiting for many months, and then the price gets jacked up... It would be nice if a note went out explaining the reason for the increase, and that the vehicle has enhanced features that warrant the increase...
