Why wait - contact Ford and see if it does or does not. This will save the hassle!
the customer service Dept? I wasn't aware that they would be able to provide this information.

I think you could at least ask customer service if the price protection applies in your case based on your order date. They may not be able to answer you themselves but should point you in the right direction to get the answer. Or you can bring it up with the dealer in advance if you have a contact there. My point is, at least for me, would be to deal with this question in advance. Only reason I would contact Ford is to have the info available to provide the dealer as some appear to not be too informed on this. For myself I spoke with the sales manager to confirm price protection and how it works.

So I'm getting close to deliver and starting to work through the financing. My dealer is telling me they'll honor the price protection (after I sent the full details provided on this forum - thank you!) and either the $750 credit OR X Plan, but they cannot do both. Is this correct? Has anyone been able to get all three of these?

No that's not right. The 750 is immaterial of your plan

They're saying no matter what they do, the system won't give them the option. They're continuing to look into it, but I know how that usually goes.

Great advice and I will be doing just this. I did call Ford and asked the question

This is great advice and is exactly what I will be doing. I did call Ford, just after I saw the price of my order jump $2000 and they referred me back to the dealer; kind of useless.

At least they can do the price protection and X Plan. Better than my dealer who said the price protection OR X Plan. What a bummer. It's been 3 days since my car has arrived at the dealership and they still can't figure it out.

I got all three from my dealer with a little bit patience. My dealer had to work with "Ford Marketing" to get it done/approved. Took them a couple of days..

My Mach-E has finally arrived at the dealership and when asked about the price protection the dealer was saying that I will be receiving the price difference in the form of a cheque from Ford. Is this correct?

No the dealer should adjust the price you pay. Ford not sending check so be careful.

That is not true. The dealer receives a credit from Ford within 45 days of proof that the person who ordered the car purchased it. I did read a post where the dealer agreed to cut a check to the purchaser when they received the credit; however, that is also not the way it is supposed to work.

I emailed my dealer as my car is being produced this week and got it in writing (via email) that the original price would be honored.

The information on this post helped, I basically copy and pasted it into my email to them and they responded within an hour confirming that this is correct.

Its kinda crazy that it really is depending on the dealership how much hassle they are putting into this.

Its pretty straight forward and from a consumer perspective, you should not have to know all of this. But quite a few dealerships are squeezing the consumer (and Ford) for more profits in a supply crunch. Its maddening.
