Hi Owners – We wanted to let you know that if your side door mirrors aren’t closing when you go to lock your car, here is a helpful tip:
  1. Go to your SYNC screen
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Select Vehicle
  4. Go to Mirrors
  5. You'll find an Auto-Fold toggle option – make sure it is toggled to ON
Once you toggle the option ON that should help get those mirrors closed once your car is locked. Remember, always double-check your settings if you encounter any problems to ensure they align with your preferences.

If you have any questions, please contact the Ford Customer Service Center at (800) 392-3673.

Fixed it for you:

Remember, always double-check your settings OTA coding before deployment if so customers don't you encounter any problems and to ensure they align with the OTA won't change customer your preferences.

I actually am VERY glad to see this thread. I'm guessing it was either this or delay the update AGAIN to fix this bug in the update.

Given that it's really a very small bug I think this is a great solution rather than more delays

Small bug but if you live in a big city those open mirrors are an invitation for theft or kids rifling through your car as it appears it may be unlocked if mirrors are open

I mean... I may be missing something here but I'd wager that a vast majority of vehicles on the road today don't even have the option for auto folding mirrors.

In any case, I still think it's a worth it trade off rather than delay the updates further than they've already been delayed

unless of course you have a Select, without comfort package, in which case your mirrors will never fold.... and neither your frunk nor your rear hatch will spontaneously open.

If I could turn OFF cross-traffic alert, and have it stay off, I'd be even happier.

Small bug if your mirrors don’t fold in. But if they’re folded in and don’t automatically unfold, people might freak out and get their car towed.

The frunk in a Select is no different than any other trim.
ooohhhhh, I thought the missing frunk open button in FordPass was a Job 1 /select thing? whatever... I don't need it or want it.

It‘s a Job 1 thing, not a Select thing.

....oooooohhhhhh.
whatever.

I would be in favor of MUCH LESS tech in a base model for lower cost, fun to drive, decent performance EV for the 'common folk'.

i.e. no power-auto-anything, except the MOTOR..... ;)
