Powertrain, which includes HVBJB, is covered for 8 years 100K miles warrantyI recently exited the factory warranty (had the car for three years) and am now in overtime (Ford PremiumCare extended warranty). I'm very glad to have the protection. So far the two big ticket repairs that my car has needed were an oil pump replacement (yes, the car has them - two of them in fact), and an HVBJB replacement. Had the former been this year rather than last, I would have had a sizable repair bill. As for the HVBJB, I suspect it would depend on where it stood in relationship to the recall that was issued for them.
All that said, given how many miles you're putting on your car, AFAIK the longest PremiumCare warranty is for 100K miles, so if you keep up the amount of driving you're doing, you'd likely reach that in around five years. Judt something to factor as you consider what to do.
Best of luck in your decision and glad you love your car so much!!
