Production date > shipped

Even if you haven't yet taken delivery, how long did you wait from your production week date to 'shipped'?

Today is my Scheduled for Production Build week, so I'm just trying to get a rough idea. Other than those who received the dreaded 6-week delay emails, are they shipping more quickly nowadays?

Yep, I'm a couple weeks away. Last I heard it left Kansas City and is sitting in Illinois somewhere, which is odd because that's not East, but whatever. I suspect I'm about 14 days away from delivery

9/27 Production week. Built 10/1. Shipped 10/2.

That depends on whether the plant runs out of certain parts impacted by the "chip" shortage while your vehicle is on the assembly line, when that happens you go to the end of the backlog with the infamous chip hold. For me it took a little over 12 weeks from the start of build to shipping.

I guess it’s just the luck of the draw with the locations of the other MMEs in your shipment. I hope all of those that accompany mine are headed for the northeast!

Still waiting for final build date and shipping, so 63 days and counting...

Correct. By nature I have all the patience of a 5 year old at the ice cream truck. But, still learning what I cannot control. It does make me think that Ford really needs to learn how to communicate. Not a word other than the dreaded delay email. Even the dealer is kept in the dark. It was fun though on 9/1 when Ford posted that they needed me to select another dealer. That got some interesting communication between the dealer and the regional Ford rep!
