Profile No Longer Loading?

Things continue to deteriorate: now, using PaaK, my profile is no longer loading (at least not completely - seats and mirrors are still there, as are radio presets?) instead of displaying my icon at the top of Sync, it’s displaying the grid of 6 dots. When I go into profiles, my profile is listed, but the guest profile is selected which means a lot of the default settings, like the “blue wall” are there.
Thoughts?

Mine does this when remote starting. It will go to the guest profile. I have to just hit my seat memory button and it goes back to normal. I think it will be addressed in updates as they know about the issue. An OTA APIM update was supposed to be released last month but I do not believe it was.

Thanks! I’ll give that a shot. As I noted in another thread, scheduled starting was somehow enabled. I’ve disabled it.

When you look at the details under your profile does it list your phone as connected to the profile?

Thanks. I’ll have to check. I can’t imagine why that would have disappeared. My phone is still connecting to CarPlay.

Mine did this yesterday for the first time. I also did remote start but I’ve done that many times before with no issue.

Same thing happened to me. Using both standard start and remote start. So then, when I go in to the menu select my profile to “manually” load it, my profile it will not load. That means it uses all of the “guest” profile settings instead of the ones I had loaded under the profile I created. Have tried not having my phone connected to CarPlay or Bluetooth, in case there was something to do with that, and still- will not change profiles no matter how many times I press the button.

So mine has been doing this constantly recently. It has gotten so bad that I took the time to setup guest with my driving preferences because I was sick and tired of random things changing.

Even when punching in the pillar door code it will still load in the guest profile. I would assume, since that code is setup with PAAK, that it would load the correct driver profile.

Another thing it started doing recently is ignoring PAAK if any other door is opened before I get my driver door open. So if my kid gets the back door opened first and gets in the car, the mirrors fold in and PAAK won't open the dang door. I have to punch in my code, doors unlock and I can start the car. Same thing with the lift gate. If I go put something into the back, close the lift gate, and then go to my door, it refuses to unlock, even though I just unlocked the lift gate via PAAK. Punch in the door code and PAAK starts the car without issue. Did it this morning when I put my dog in the car. Very annoying to say the least.

Would like to note, this did not start happening till I updated FordPass.....

Same symptoms, but a few more issues:

2 profiles, 2 phones. Even with the other phone 1000 miles away from the car, it randomly selects between 1, 2, a guest.

As a bonus, if I use screen to switch profiles, it alters settings to something that isn’t on any profile. Easy to spot because the car goes imperial. Using the button doesn’t do this.

I’m having this same issue, just started after 1k miles, had been working fine for the past month but now when I start, even with fob, it just stays on guest profile and won’t let me switch to my main one. Was anyone able to figure out or do a reset and fix it?

Actually I was able to get them working again by creating a third profile and then they became active and are working now. Wow can’t wait for some bug fixes!
