Anyone else wish the propulsion sound was louder or at lease adjustable. Mybe its because after years of having resonators on exhaust systems it seems like it is very subtle.

It’s designed to help people judge acceleration and mark a bit of noise. I think for that reason it wasn’t designed with a volume adjustment. A significant number of folks are like @MarkP213 and just want it turned off. I like the sound but don’t care all that much about the volume, it can’t be heard outside anyway.

Sounds like an old Econoline with the very common exhaust leak. Would have preferred it sounded like the Coyote, so for me OFF is the best feature.

Used to do that when I had one of these first time around as a kid.

I turned it on once. I was surprised to find it subtle enough not to be offensive nor great. Just ok.

I eventually, after a couple of weeks I think, turned it back off and haven't felt the urge since.

I think I'd be far more likely to use the option if it was "tunable" and had a volume control as well. Or put another way, I bet there is a fake engine noise that I might enjoy at times. But my GTPE doesn't have it.

I’d pay for the car to make the Jetson’s car sound. Externally too. Maybe even serious money.

It’d have to be the real actual sound though, not an almost or similar sound that skirts copyright infringement laws.

Hmmmm. On my 23 Gt I cannot get the propulsion sound to turn on. When I push the toggle on, it only stays “on” for 2 seconds and then flips itself to off. Anybody know why this happens?

How do you turn it off?

Propulsion sound is in the settings, where nearly everything else is. I leave it on but I barely even notice it or care about it anymore.
