Proximity Sensor not working

I think I’ve seen complaints about this before, but I can’t find any threads on it.

Recently the proximity sensor screen doesn’t show up when it used to. Sometime it showed up really late and shows orange lines where I’m close to the garage wall.
where I park at work is next to a column and it used to come on every time. But now it doesn’t at all.
I’ve checked the sensors and all seem to be in place like they are supposed to.
Anything else I should check before I take it in.
I just hate taking it into the shop when I don’t have to.

Got the car back. They said it’s normal. ??‍
I got home and pulled into the garage. My son wanted a ride. I put it in reverse, the garage door was closed. Not a peep from the sensor.

Mine is inconsistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The doesn't seems to be happening more and more frequently, though. It has to go in for its check-up in May, so I guess I'll get them tot take a look at it then.
