I am considering buying a used car. I would like to know how long the battery lasts in hot and cold weather conditions.

The car hasn’t been around long enough to know specifically what the life cycle of the high voltage battery is going to be. We can go off of similar batteries from other manufacturers though. Anecdotally, age is a larger factor than charge cycles seem to have been in battery degradation. Degradation seems to be more affected by extremely hot environments than extremely cold ones. Cold affects immediate chemical activity, which affects range and charge speed. ??

If you are buying used I would suggest going with a CPO car over a private-party purchase. ??
