You need to come to Philadelphia sometime. Did you know that it’s illegal to cross streets at marked intersections or crosswalks? Pedestrians are required to dart out into the middle of streets unexpectedly. They get bonus points if they dart out from behind a large truck or other vehicle that totally hides them. Also, pedestrians are only allowed to wear black or dark-colored clothing at night (this also seems to be a rule in the suburbs) ???
NYC just made jaywalking LEGAL.

I know for a fact if someone decides to attempt to run across the road and tackle your charge port the car does nothing to stop. (I am not surprised either)

Now why someone is dumb enough to try that….that I don’t know.

Cyclist and pedestrian detection systems are becoming more common in cars these days. They use sensors, cameras, and sometimes radar to detect people or bikes around your vehicle. These systems are designed to alert the driver if someone’s too close or in danger of being hit. It’s a great safety feature, especially in busy urban areas. However, it’s imperfect and can sometimes have false alarms or miss things, like smaller pedestrians or cyclists in specific lighting. But overall, it’s a step forward for safety. If you’re in an accident because of a system failing, it might be worth talking to a Tulsa Car Accident Attorney, especially if you think the tech should’ve worked better.
