Random Audio Distortion

Just seeing if anyone can re-produce this issue. Using Apple CarPlay and Apple Music. When playing music, and switching from reverse or using the camera view. back to the Carplay view do you hear a little audio distortion?

I have rear camera delay enabled as well. Just seeing if this is reproduced on another vehicle or not.

Yes, it's a stutter/glitch introduced in the recent SYNC refresh (where the vehicle icon was replaced with 90s-style Finder icons).

I use Android Auto, not CarPlay, so I think it's safe to say this isn't CarPlay specific.

Good to know it’s a Syncbug and on both. Have you submitted feedback about it from the feedback recorder in vehicle ?

I plan to do that my next drive.

I've been reporting lots of audio annotated issues!

This one doesn't bug me much.... It just seems that they've switched to lazy loading for apps and image assets and they've made the audio pipeline too low in priority. I only hear the glitching while it's trying to load images or apps.

Yeah that's what it appears. Seems like it's all apps though, so not just app projection. Glad to know someone else is reporting it so that it might get fixed in two years lol

Yes I have noticed that myself I use Apple CarPlay and just got the car last week. Does any notice a weird sound coming from the center microphone/camera area?
