Randomly charged to 100 at home

Not sure why, but my 2023.5 GT charged to 100% overnight. I checked the app and everything is set to 90%. For the record, the software update (12v battery enhancement) was installed overnight and for the first time I set a preferred charging timeframe on my charger app (Tesla universal). Any ideas?

My vehicle also charged to 100% the lsat two nights. My saved charging locations were wiped out in the vehicle and in FordPass. I tried setting a charging location in the vehicle and it says I need to AC charge first before I can set a new location.

I'm going to get in the car tonight when it starts charging to see if I can set a location or set the max charge level.

Sometimes updates wipe out a charging location. Charge for a few minutes, then set a new location.

100% charging is common after software updates.

The PU0102-FTDI-FX did the same for me. It has not continued past the initial 100% charge after the update.

Ok great, I'm not crazy lol. I saw that I had charged to 100% and my targets had been wiped out. The only other problem is now my 12v battery is showing as drained and I have the Electrical Drainage Error showing up.

At least I know its not something I did or somethin unique to my car.

This allows you to have different charging timing and limits for each location. Let’s say you have charging at work and are on time of day rates at home. You’ll want to charge during the day at work but only during off-peak hours at home.

There are times when being able to have different settings by location can be useful. I have a different setting for when I’m parked at the airport, for example.
The deficiency in Ford’s logic is that there is no capability to set a default level that gets used when you’re not at one of your locations.

This is also happening to me. I no longer see any of my saved charge locations, and additionally it doesn't seem that it's recognizing my current location as a new location, i.e. I don't have a way to save it and specify the max charge percentage.

So my saved/preferred locations did get wiped out during that software update. I had to set the home address and target charge up again when i plugged the vehicle back in. This was the first time it's happened during a software update for me.

Same here - I was finally able to set up a new location this morning labeled "Home2" but was not able to override the original "Home" location setting even though it was wiped out by the update. Unfortunately, the system is not recognizing the new location that I set up. I have had to call Ford 3 times before I was able to talk with the FordPass team. The rep escalated the issue up to the software team and hoping they will figure out the glitch soon.

The capability to have charge limits that are tied to a location: Good
The requirement to have a completed charge session before you can set a limit: Bad
The lack of capability to set a global default charge limit for a MME in 2024: Ridiculous
