2021 SR AWD, bought at 2800 mi, now 6200 mi. I'm on my first real road trip in this car, no issues until my last DC fast charge on reaching my final destination 700 mi from home. I left home at 100% with 223 mi predicted range. Now I'm at 49% with 50 mi, and have been consistently at around 1 mi / % SoC. I left the last charge with 79%, 82 mi, pictured.

Is this a known issue where DC fast charging will throw off the range estimates or the SoC? Or is my battery pack actually damaged somehow? Do I really only have half the battery capacity that I should? Has anyone else encountered this?

I think you're the second person today to report this. I wonder if it's a bug in the new GOM calibration? My Escape PHEV will sometimes do this, but it will fix itself after a couple key cycles.

Are you really only getting 1mi/kwh?

On a road trip over the weekend I saw 2.0 miles per kwh but averaged 90mph. If I drove slower my miles per kwh were much better

Probably a combination of factors. Road tripping will yield a much lower mi/kWh if you do not do a lot of highway miles in day-to-day driving. Elevation change will reduce range as well. Recently drove from S. NH to Burlington, VT. EV range was immediately reduced by 60 mi. when I set the trip in Nav. and driving through heavy rain hurts range as well.

I'll let you in on a secret: the displayed range is a bullshit guess. Sometimes it is close to right, many times it is not.

Compute the actual kwh used over an actual distance and then figure out if you really have a problem.

Thanks for the replies all.

Absolute worst I saw at any point was 2.8 mi/kWh. I was intentionally reducing my speed or A/C use to keep it above 3.0.

I'd love to do that, but the whole premise of my concern is whether my battery is suddenly degraded and I am not working with as many kWh. So I can't compute kWh used from SoC. Theoretically I could compute from the trip computer's mi/kWh, but then on one of the trips since this started happening, I drove for a solid 7 mi with it telling me I was at 0 mi/kWh, so I'm not sure I can trust that either.

How fast were you driving--it might matter? And, stop sneezing on your dashboard.
Speed limits, usually 65 mph, 70 mph in places. And, it's dust and pollen.

My car has 255/45/20 non low rolling resistance Summer only tires and aftermarket non aero rims. If I keep the speed down it gets 2.7 on the highway usually.

That's an excellent case for having and using OBD2 to monitor the actual battery state in KWh and do consumption calculations without trusting GOM algorithms.
I'm pretty sure that the OP battery is fine and it's another Ford software miracle

Let's hope you're right. Any recommendations on a good OBD2 tool for monitoring battery capacity?

I think this is latest update related. I have had them all. This morning my car said 200 miles at 90%, I put in a Nav destination, I got the "range updated due to x,y,z" my destination was 1.5 miles away, the GOM immediately went to 160miles and stayed that way the rest of the day, and my mi/kw has been showing about 3.5 today. I am guessing if I track it I will end up going 200+ miles on this charge

I use the OBDLink MX+ with the CarScanner app, which has a preconfigured Mach-E profile that's pretty robust. There are cheaper options out there, but they are usually either wired, lack a secure pairing button, or are otherwise limited in compatibility.

Back to your problem though- You may have luck entering and clearing navigation a few times to give GOM a chance to sort itself out, or you may just have to wait it out.
