Recall Status Update?

Has anyone heard anything updated about the recall software update release?

After waiting and being delayed for months and months by shipping issues my MME finally made it to the dealership…but 4 days after the stop sale order went into effect. The dealer said they’re hopeful the software side of the recall will come soon so they can finally sell me the car, but man is this disheartening.

if anyone has any insight it’d be appreciated.

Update is available but there are already reports of the problem still happening. The fix is similar to Chevy attempting to fix the Bolt battery problems by limiting capacity. In the end, only hardware actually fixed it. I fear Ford is just delaying the inevitable due to lack of parts.
