I received an unexpected surprise in the postal mail, today, from Ford - Customer Relations.

I am not exactly sure what prompted the card to be sent to me, however, it’s fair to say that I have dealt with the occasional early adopter issues.

The mailing looks like your everyday junk offer, so pay attention else you could be missing out on free $$.

Nice! Since I have free time I'm going to bring my car back to the dealer for Paak and a few other items. I'll go in every week to see what they do. I can easily kill time in and around the dealership. Ford CS has been no help. Just total BS from them.

Nice, first I thought it was one of those gift cards they were handing out for National Drive Electric Week! I received 25 Fordpass points for my service visit to get my free Fob programmed for free!!

I also got one of these cards in the mail today for the same amount. The card has 2019 Ford Edge where normally you’d see a person’s name. Over late-spring through this summer, I had to take my 2019 Edge to the dealer around 4-6 times for the repeating failure of the ventilation functionality of the passenger seat. I’m guessing Ford took notice of those frustrations.

I certainly wouldn’t complain if Ford Canada sent me a $250 prepaid credit card.
My FE has been in service many times. Mostly programming issues. Vehicle not receiving over the air updates of any kind. Individual modules have had to be updated by Ford Service.
one occasion is because of Phone as Key being unreliable. The car let me stranded once and I had to have my wife drive over with the key fob. Within 10 feet of the car and it started immediately because of the Fob presence. Now I never leave without the fob in hand. Just don’t trust the car.
I went to the parts department and asked for a quote on getting a second fob. I was told $350 CAD plus a service call to program the fob.
SERIOUSLY!!!

Ford, please send me the prepaid credit card to help reduce the cost of getting me a second fob.
