Received it too. You sign up with your existing Ford Pass account password. It recognized my Mach E in the account and not any other vehicle in your account. Guess who else does almost the same things?? It is the Ford web site by the way.

For those who don’t understand the “Edge” reference, none of us actually have a Ford Edge (that I know of). Early on, there was a “glitch in the matrix” that misidentified our VINs as “Ford Edge” when we tried to register the VIN on the Ford website before getting our cars. Ultimately, a second vehicle, which was properly a Mustang Mach E showed up without a VIN, and the “Edge” became a “Mustang Mach E F Edge” and seems to be the “real” car. I’m pretty sure that’s why we aren’t able to complete registration - we have these glitched identifiers.

I do have a Mach e. The link worked with my saved login but when I entered the site, I see the confirmation that my signing up worked - but there is no link to my Mach e. I assumed because I was automatically logged in with my saved ID & PW, that I would see my entire account including my Mach e.

It’s a separate site (as far as I can tell). It’s just using your credentials for verification.

I called Ford Support to see if they could forcibly change the bogus Edge on my account to the correct MME. They said that the only way to correct it was for me to completely remove the vehicle form my account and add it again. I didn't want to do that because I didn't want to mess up PaaK, but she said that was the only way. So I removed the vehicle and added it again by VIN. Guess what. It comes up as an Edge again. Not only did it not fix the problem, but after going through all of the PaaK setup again, now PaaK does not work at all. This is frustrating to say the least.

Yes - I sorta decided that was the case - now we just wait and see. I think it might be coincidence but I just completed the JD Powers Mach e survey - wondering if that could have triggered the invite?
