I have a 2021 Mach e premium all wheel drive with 38,000 miles on it. The Michelin Primacy tires that came with the car are at end of their life. I was happy with the handing of the OEM tires and 38,000 seems pretty good for tire wear. I am considering Goodyear electric drive GTs as a replacement. I have also heard good things about the Continental pro contact RX tires.

Any feed back on these or other replacement tires would be appreciated.

I put the Hankook’s on my car at tire replacement time. They’re marginally quieter, no real loss of range. I’m quite happy with them.

I'm sticking with the OEM. Got 50k out of the first set and am creeping up on 50k from the second set.

21 Premium ER AWD, I do not drive or corner aggressively, so YMMV

Check out my post here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/oem-tires-nearing-replacement-suggestions.32534/post-889604

I just replaced my factory tires for my 2023 Cali Route 1.
How is the ride for you? I have a 2022 RWD CA Route 1 with just over 22k miles. Tread is down to 5/32 on one pair, and 4/32 on the other pair. I have the OEM Michelin Primacy A/S, and I am somewhat disappointed with needing to replace soon.

Any change in range that you have noticed in your first day or two? :)

It seems that CC2 is a fairly popular option, but I'm a little concerned about the potential loss in range. I'm a fairly conservative driver (which is one reason I'm wishing that I didn't have to think about tire replacements so soon). I have appreciated getting over 300 miles and not needing to stop on the longer trips, so I'm hoping to maintain that capability.

i haven’t driven on them enough yet to notice as change in the range, but I B will let you know. The ride for me is more important at this point. The tread wear was about the same mileage as what you stated. I hope these go a little longer. I would think the range is very very minimal. Under 5 miles difference maybe. I would see if I could find some more reviews. I wasn’t concerned about the difference in battery mileage when I shopped.

Thanks!

I think I've been reading so many different threads, and I know some people have gotten much more life out of the Primacy; I must have confused one of those with your post. I think I'm starting to approach information saturation.

I am encouraged with regards to the ride since you did mention that you noticed a ride difference. Does that mean it was quieter, less bumpy, better something else?

I put CC2's on my RWD MME after about 8000km on the OEM's. The install coincided with our seasonal drop in temperature so take this with a grain of salt. What I did notice with my efficiency tracking is that I had about a 40% drop in range when temps went below 54F (within the same week as getting the CC2's installed), however after about 2500km my efficiency went up by about 10% even as the temps dropped down into the low 40's high 30's. I am guessing that is after the tires were 'broken in' and the rolling resistance wasn't as bad once the top layer was scrubbed off.

So based on that I would say to expect a 5-7% hit in range with the CC2's but for me the comfort and grip was worth the trade off.
