Hi,
I currently own a Mach‑E 2025 Rally with a heat pump and I’ve run into a strange issue.

Remote climate control only works for about 30 minutes after turning the car off. After that, it won’t start anymore.

The second problem is that there is no cooling – everything seems to work fine, there are no error messages, the system runs, but it doesn’t actually cool.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or have any idea what could be causing this and what I should check?

Yes there is a 30 minute (2x 15 minute) time limit. After that you need to drive the car to reset.

I assume it cools fine when you’re driving the car? You might just need to adjust the temperature for remote climate. When is running, you should be able to adjust the temperature and turn on or off the heated seats and steering wheel in the app.

Yes, I’m aware that you can normally start it only twice and then the car needs to be turned on again. However, in my case it doesn’t work even once if I try to do it more than 30 minutes after switching the car off.

After 30 minutes, it won’t start at all — FordPass just keeps “thinking” and doesn’t execute the command.

The AC doesn’t cool at all, even while driving — even when set to LO with outside temperatures above 25°C.

The limit is 30 min whether you start it once or twice

So you park at 2pm, then try climate at 2:31 and it won't work. But, if you did it at 2:28 it works fine?

And AC never cools?

Sounds like you have multiple issues for a dealership.

Have you tried “Max AC” on the climate screen?

Also, there’s a setting for remote climate start to start in “auto” or ”last setting.”

Yes, exactly — that’s what happens.

On the AC not cooling… I had that issue a couple summers ago. My dealer had to get ford engineers involved and they attempted 2 fixes that all failed. On the third attempt, they replaced the entire hvac system (so they said) including a third compressor because something kept burning out the others. That finally fixed it.

No matter what the reason, you need a visit to a service center.
