Looking for insight into possible problem that caused a 'Service Vehicle Soon' message to appear on my dash this evening.
I have pulled DTC codes with Car Scanner. I will post the whole list below.
There are two entries at the top for P061A which to me seems like the main issue.
I also have a USB interface and Forscan software available if that would help gather more data.

The car is a Premium ER AWD model. Took delivery 5/11/22. Currently at 1832 miles. I do not have the HVBJB update software installed but was planning to do that 7/12 before heading off on 2000 mile roadtrip 7/15.

Brief history of today's driving:
Drove to work about 7 miles. 55 max speed (in a 45) Nothing unusual.
Drove to pick up lunch. Probably 3-4 miles round trip.
Put car on Level 2 charger. Started low 70 percent. Charged to 95 or 96 percent.
Drove home again max 50ish and about 7 miles.
Car sat for about an hour and half in garage.
Drove 15 minutes including about 8 minutes at 75 on highway.
Went in and played old-man beer league soccer and came out about 90 minutes later to 'Service Vehicle Soon' message on startup.
Temperature today was in the mid-90s and upper 80s still this evening. All flat road driving in KC area.

The Ford app says 'Powertrain Malfuntion / Reduced Power'
And What is Happening says 'Illuminates when the system has detected a powertrain or four-wheel drive fault'.

Car is currently still in the 'ON' state and backed into my garage for the night. Still not sure if I should turn it off.
Wondering if anyone has ideas about what may be broken or causing this issue. Any advice appreciated.
I will probably see if the dealer has anyone to help me tomorrow morning, but who knows on a Saturday.

THANKS

Check LVB voltage. Shut off vehicle. Restart and see if the message remains. Did it feel like you were way down on power when you drove home?

So the car automatically shut off…forgot that was going to happen. I turned it on and the warning message was gone. What the…???

So I took it out for a 4-5 mile drive. No issues. A restart showed no issues.

When the warning was showing up I tried accelerating and did not notice a significant loss of power.

LVB showing 12.7 to 12.8 volts. Dropped to 12.6 with headlights on. But, the car had just been on so that may affect results. Will recheck in the morning.

thank you for suggestions

Anyone else have thoughts?

May have been a low 12v system that caused the modules to complain. It has happened to several of us before. You might not experience these same symptoms again. If there was an actual mechanical fault then the message should have remained.

Possible software bug. There are many with this car.

Take a look at this TSB: TSB 21-2244 Illuminated MIL And DTC P061A, P1A1E, And/Or P2533

Your car is newer than that, but the issue still seems like it could be software related. The recall software will update the PCM and the other powertrain modules so I would give that a shot first.

With the car on, the battery voltage should be 13V or higher. To check it with the car off, you have to wait 15+ minutes without opening any doors or distributing it. I use a 12V outlet voltmeter and read the voltage through the window shortly before the power is cut to the 12V port. Should be 12.6V or higher, mine is usually around 12.8V no load.

To avoid 12V drains, don't use accessory mode, always-on dash cams, 3rd party apps like Optiwatt, etc.
