I'm about 90% sure at this point that I'm getting an EV6 come October....but I'm a little more tempted to hold on to my Premium ER AWD order now for a while longer just in case. Would be great if I could actually find one to test drive at some point to help me decide for sure. Ordered on Feb 9th.

Interesting that they are still saying 20+ weeks for selects. Im on week 26 and expecting to hit week 39 weeks for total wait time currently. Maybe you have to be in California to get closer to the projected wait times on the website.

I don't think the California thing is accurate... they ship these to Kansas and then out from there so California is, uh, pretty far. They seem to have prioritized GT/GT PEs, not matter when you ordered, to try and get more out and/or make more money since they're more expensive. There also seemed to be a hang up on chips or something specific to Premiums that caused those to get super hung up.

That's absolutely not true in most cases.

I can find 4 Kia dealerships within 50 miles of my house that are selling at MSRP. Even a few that are advertising a 10k markup but will quickly haggle down to MSRP if you're a serious buyer. Unlike Ford, they actually have cars on the lots as well that you can test drive.

I have yet to find a single Mach-E sitting on a dealer lot that wasn't marked up at least 5k. I also haven't been able to find a single one to test drive. I'm about to cancel my order for a premium AWD ER because I've test driven the EV6 twice now and its just an all around better car. It also has twice the warranty and Kia has a much higher dependability rating than Ford. Nice boomer energy though with your "IT'S A KIA!!". Maybe if Ford could actually produce some mach-e's I would have kept my order but at this point I don't even wanna bother waiting (who knows how long) for a car with lots of quality issues and a pretty short warranty.

I hope you end up with the car you like the best. For arguments sake, if you haven’t driven an MME you can’t really say the EV6 is all around a better car. If you like the looks, interior, styling, etc better on the EV6 then I can understand that, but the drive is also a huge part. I’m not sure what “quality issues” you are referring to with the MME, but from what I know the EV6 was just released so I’m unsure if any quality issues or other issues are even known at this point. Not necessarily an apples to apples comparison with a car that’s been out for a while vs one that was just released. The wait for the MME is incredibly frustrating for sure. Again, I hope you end up with the car you like the best. That’s all that matters.
