Haven't experienced any actual rage in the 92k miles I've driven, and that's in Texas. Back when they were much rarer, I had a few people pull up beside me at a light and rev their engines - always either ICE mustangs or F-150s and I assume both took issue with the electric or mustang part - but that really hasn't been a thing in 3+ years now. Think they both figured out we're quicker than they are.
Austin has a lot of Mach Es

Never had anything but positive comments or questions. Just the other day I met up with a guy to sell something and he asked, "Is this what Mustangs look like now?" I smiled and said, "only the electric ones!"

Most people don't even know what you're driving and in any case, don't be swayed by some Internet tough guys who would never have the nerve to say it to your face.

As our greatest poet Taylor Swift once sang "Say it in a tweet, it's a cop out / Say it on the street, it's a knock out." (I have tween daughters, lol).

I’ve never had anybody say anything negative about my MME. I have gotten a few compliments and people asking “is that a Mustang?” Before the MME I drove a VW Jetta TDI. Got a few “you know that’s diesel you’re putting in there, right?”
