but not seeing much complaining about the seats in terms of comfort.
Yah the seats are excellent, right up there with my Prestige Etron. Only thing missing is the massage feature. I would have paid quite a bit extra but not an option. It is available on the F150 lightning. Oh and dock points for seat ventilation. But for the weight and cost its excellent.

IMHO if Ford wants to do well with this car they may want to consider these two goals.

1. Designate an EV salesman at each dealership, all should get trained and pass EV exam before selling, I am talking about understanding fundamentals of electricity and efficiency to show the MME's true advantages when pittted against the competition (efficiency is a big plus in this car's case).

2. Second, dedicated EV technician training, each dealer should have one, to avoid the repair fiasco's on ICE we have all come to know around captive market small town dealer service departments.
This is exactly how it should be! None of us should be doing as much educating as I have see us doing at the dealership. Its fun knowing so much about the car but the first time my salesman took me around the car and I just sat back and waited to see how much he knew, he opened up the back and lifted the mat and was surprised to see no spare tire and didn't know about the patch kit at all. He was good natured and happy to have me tell him all about the car but not everyone will have that experience. It makes me fear for the people going to dealerships that have little to no knowledge and are introducing this car to people that know nothing about it. It only forces people to go searching for basic information or turns them away from it entirely for lack of information from the dealerships. Something as simple as not knowing it doesn't have a spare is kinda important. And also not knowing it doesn't come with a second fob was a big one when we were finishing up the purchase. They thought they had somehow lost the second one and were panicking until I said it only comes with one. The training and knowledge just isn't there or is extremely lacking and there needs to be a higher standard.

Whats up with these cars coming from Mexico all dirty. I have never seen this before with any of the other new cars I have purchased. Ford better get on this and find out why.
Just a recap:

The cars come from a factory in Cuautitlán Izcalli. Cuautitlán Izcalli is only 28 miles from Mexico City. Mexico City is literally half a continent away from much of the USA. Once those cars roll out the door, they sit in an open-air lot until there is a sufficient number to load on a train and head to Kansas City Mo. That's a trip that covers about 1650 miles and takes a week at a breakneck pace of 10 to 20 mph. After that, they sit in another open-air lot until Jack Cooper Transport moves them to the next railroad yard, where they sit in a third open-air lot until they get on another train and go to a depot, sit in that open-air lot, and wait for a truck or boat to take them to their destination.

All that time, and the terrain the cars cross, make the cars dirty. The journey from rolling out the door can take anywhere from 3 weeks for those fairly close to Kansas City MO, to 11 weeks for those in Hawaii and much longer than that for our friends in Norway. And once the dealer has them they sit in an open-air dealer lot until they're prepped and sold. They collect dirt and they're darn good at it.

It's the dealer's responsibility to clean their cars properly.

Or we could bubble wrap them. Not sure how that'd go though since the cars have to be driven onto the various transport vehicles.

That makes sense as to why the exterior will be dirty. But the only explanation I can think of for the interior filth would be that the window is left rolled down. Which seems unlikely for sure, but how else is the interior getting so bad?

Magic. Or the doors are open for longer than we think. And windows. How many times do you want to get into a stuffy hot car when you have 90 of them to drive onto a set of train cars? Just speculation.

Mine was pretty clean before they cleaned it. Interior, not exterior. The exterior was amazingly "clean" considering ... caused it had rained in San Diego while it sat there for 5 weeks. It did have water spots -- pretty much everywhere-- though.

minor problems, but I would give that dealer as bad a review as you can.

There is indeed training for the sales reps and technicians, and my dealer did in fact have a "dedicated" sales rep for the Mach E. The problem is that they normally do in person training, but due to covid last year they did webinars and online training - which proved highly ineffective. They also did the training way too early (august/sept 2020 IIRC), and anything the dealers did learn got forgotten.
I'm surprised to hear there was training in Aug/Sept 2020. I ordered my MME in September, so I was trying to get info in the months around this time. Dealerships were pretty much in the dark. Thankfully, I found a salesperson who owned a Tesla, so he was actually interested in getting answers to my questions. I moved my order to that dealership and have been content.

Its crazy hearing about any dealership not sending off a new ~$50k car not looking showroom ready. Every new car I've bought got fully washed and buffed and interior cleaned without asking before they handed over the keys

You did a driving lesson in your brand new MME? Either you're very brave or your daughter is a fantastic student.
She started on my Cadillac XT4 and my 2000 Trans Am Firehawk.

I would love to hear your experience after another week or so. I also have had multiple back surgeries and one of the reasons I loved the car so much on the test drive was how comfy and smooth it was, and the height was perfect for getting in and out without needing to crouch down or bend too much.

But now reading the forum so many people say the ride is bad and the seats are uncomfortable so I’m getting a little nervous. My test drive was only about 30 minutes.

So please do continue to update your experience, thank you!
I have a pretty sensitive back (sold my BMW 3 series after 9 months of ownership because it destroyed my back) and I've been happy so far with the Mach E. Seats are very soft.

Obviously everyone will be different but just my experience.

Surprises me that they decided to play hardball with the FOB! I got NO argument from our dealer when I asked for it! This is pocket change when you consider what we are paying for these cars!!
I got the typical dealer speak," there is no margin in these cars, blah, blah".
