500 miles later "service soon" warning on my way home today.

Positives...it still let me cruise at highway speeds, but little to no acceleration there, felt like driving a focus. Drove directly to the dealership. They have been great, apologized and gave me a loaner.

Acceleration gray bars were half way across the meter. I have never d/c fast charged. And while I don't believe I've lost a stop light race, I don't constantly hit it with full acceleration. It's a GT

Have you seen the part they have to replace? It's a very large tray with many components on it. My car is not their first one with the issue.

Actually, it's not very big, you're looking at the battery pack they had to drop to replace the much smaller HVBJB (high voltage battery junction box).

I thought it was big, about three feet wide, I expect a couple of electrical switches.

Yes, I've taken one apart. It's 23.3 inches long.

Welcome to the club. Mine is currently in for the second replacement, but the good news is Ford does have an updated part which is supposed to handle the high voltage better so it doesn't fail in the future.
