Given that the seats are not actually leather, is it best not to use leather cleaner on them and certainly not leather feed?
What do people use to keep them clean , fresh and supple?

For what it’s worth, the online manual suggests vacuuming the seats and then “wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap and water solution. Dry the area with a clean, soft cloth”. This is stated for both fabric and vinyl. No express instruction for the vegan/faux leather that I see. I’ve only had my car about six weeks so haven’t personally crossed this bridge yet. I’d probably try the Ford suggestion using a very, very mild (perhaps soap made for babies?) and very diluted soap/water solution in a small, inconspicuous location and see how it goes.

It is also worth talking about whether the faux vegan suede material in the GT should be handled differently than the vegan leather material in other trims.

I have been using Armor All wipes. The packaging says it’s safe for leather and so far so good. The salesman at the dealership said any cleaner for cars would do.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I’m best off sticking with the recommended soap and water by Ford although the leather cleaning wipes in the Amazon link look interesting but I’m concerned that the chemicals in them may affect the fabric long term.

I use a damp cloth to clean. I wouldn’t trust anything you hear from dealers.
